Throughout the year, each student will rotate through the job cycle at least twice. 

JOBS RELATED TO THE PRODUCTION OF EACH NEWS MAGAZINE

PRODUCER

Responsible for the show stack, overseeing the final shoot of each news magazine.

ASSISTANT PRODUCER

Shadows producer as second pair of hands, will usually move into the producer’s job on rotation schedule.

CAMERA

Responsible for filming the anchors for the final shoot of each news magazine.

AUDIO

Responsible for monitoring and correcting audio during the final shoot of each news magazine.

ANCHORS

Hosts for the final shoot of each newsmagazine.

SCRIPT/PROMPTER

Responsible for loading anchor dialogue into Cue Prompter and running Cue Prompter during the final shooting of each news magazine.

EDITOR

Responsible for piecing together all components of the final news magazine.

JOBS RELATED TO THE PRODUCTION OF EACH SEGMENT (working within teams)

PRODUCER

In the team will work primarily to schedule shot list and oversee b-roll and gathering of interviews.

CAMERA

In the team, will be responsible for getting all shots, interviews and b-roll

AUDIO

In the team, will be responsible for monitoring audio during interviews and assisting the camera in the gathering of natural sound for the segment.

EDITOR

Responsible for downloading and classifying all footage and putting together the final piece for submission.
